1.What do you do? Tell us about your business!

We make custom decorated sugar cookies, cakes and cupcakes

 

2.How long have you been in business? How did you get started?

I started Sugarbee Goodies a year ago this October. I got started because my husband had lost his job and being a stay at home mom I needed to help out in our time of need so I put myself out there and am so grateful and blessed that it has been able to help our family during our time of need.

3.What is your favorite part of your job?

I love that it is never the same. My orders are almost always different. From robots to princesses to Zombies and Star wars. I don’t have a chance to get bored or feel like I am doing the same thing over and over because it is always changing.

4.What is your best party tip?

Plan as much in advance and then when its time for the party sit back and enjoy all your hard work and never stress about the things you didn’t get to do.

5.What is your favorite party theme right now?

I really like the Great Gatsby theme right now. I love the fun colors and costumes that, that era brought.

6.Tell us a little about YOU!

I may be a baker but I am first and for most a Mom. I am very lucky to have 5 of the best kids in the world. I get asked a lot how I do it will 5 kids. Well since my kids are all under 6 I don’t really do much while they are awake. So usually I don’t get to start any of my orders till 8 or 9:00 at night. So you could say I don’t sleep much, I call it my superpower. 

7. What is one of your favorite recent projects?

That would be the cookies I made for my mom. You see she just completed 6 months or chemotherapy and 8 weeks of radiation. So I made thank you cookies for the nurses and doctors that helped my mom through her journey. I couldn’t be more proud of her for her strength and more thankful to the people that took care of her. GO MOM!
