{PARTY FEATURE} Art Themed Birthday Party - by Lemonberry Moon

I have always admired the Party Planning talents of Elizabeth over at Lemonberry Moon.

When her little man Michael turned 5 this past year, she knew she wanted to throw him a party that was not only cute for boys and girls...but a party that would allow them to have fun and create freely!

She began with this fabulous Art Supply "Cake". It was the main focus of the party, and the children enjoyed tearing it apart and using the different supplies to create their one of  a kind masterpieces.

 

She created a "free create" table, which allowed the little ones to decorate their own apron with fabric pens. Once the girls arrived at the party, the "bling" came out. We are talking glitter madness here! 

Pet rocks, colored rice, construction paper, glue, and glitter kept the children pretty busy.

 

 Elizabeth ordered blank canvas cookies from The Wacky Cookie Company, and made colored frosting to put in cute little paint palettes. Each child got to decorate 2 cookies, and clean up was a breeze...not to mention YUMMY!

 

 

Treats for the party were a huge hit! Canvas Cookies from The Wacky Cookie Company , creative juice, Twix cereal treats, chocolate covered pretzels, rainbow jello, and cupcakes made to look like paint on a palette.
