Hello! I’m thrilled to be a part of the Guest Blogging
team here on Forever Your Prints. I’ve loved parties for as long as I can
remember and I’m always thinking of new ways to celebrate with my family. In
fact, I took Project Management in college with the intention of going into
Event Management as a career but I somehow ended up in Northern Alberta working
in the construction management industry for years instead. Funny how things
work out sometimes, isn’t it?
After the birth of my son in 2011, I decided to start a
blog as a creative outlet. I was always jotting down fun ideas for parties in
notebooks and I wanted a place where I could share these creative, fun and
sometimes just plain silly ideas for family fun & parties. Thankfully, my
husband is a good sport about all of this so he’s always willing to attend my
mini-parties at home. For most husbands, hearing “We’re having T-Rex
hamburgers, herbivore pasta salad and lava cake for supper” would be reason for
concern...but in our house this is just a typical day!
Here, on Forever Your Prints, I’ll be sharing creative
party ideas each month that you can enjoy with your family and friends. Want to
know a bit more about my party style? Here are a few of my favorite parties:
Farm Animal Party - For my son’s 2nd birthday party, I put together a fun
farm-themed party including stick horses as favors, cow pie desserts and more! 
Beach Party - My son is a beach bum so I was excited to put together this fun
party at the beach including silly games and unique food ideas.
Bubble Guppies
- Not only is the show adorable but the theme song is highly addictive! This
Bubble Guppies Party is one of the most popular on Moms & Munchkins. As an
added bonus - all of the party printables featured here are free on the show’s
website!
County Fair Party - This is the most recent party on Moms & Munchkins and I had such
a fun time putting it together. I seriously squealed when I saw these piggy
cake pops - they couldn’t be any cuter!
